Tucson’s March Against Monsanto

Enjoy browsing through this photo gallery of Tucson’s March Against Monsanto on May 25, 2013, at Reid Park!

Tucson was one of more than 400 U.S. and worldwide cities that participated in the unprecedented worldwide March Against Monsanto. Between 500 and 1,000 people marched in Tucson in protest of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and the GM seed company Monsanto, and more than 2 million people marched worldwide.

I was honored to give the rallying speech before the march. In the second photo, you can see me enjoying the reaction and enthusiasm of the crowd. In the sixth photo, you can see a bit of my view of the tremendous crowd as I was speaking.
